The program “Rookie of the Year” is divided into 2 routes. The first route “Project 100%” is the stage of selecting, training and coaching trainees according to international standards, applied to top boy bands such as EXO, Shinee... with leading experts in Korea and Vietnam. The talents are trained in a closed environment for 3 months at a shared house. This part will be broadcast on YeaH1 Network, the first episode from April 21, the next episode on the evening of April 28.

The second route “All-round Rookie” aired on prime time VTV3 starting from September, with the official debut of a male idol group. The group will compete directly with international groups from many countries.

At the launch of the 30 trainees, the program's producers hope that this will be the program that opens a new era in the entertainment industry training idol groups. The criteria for selecting the top 30 are based on the following factors: talent, star quality, development potential, and attractiveness through the lens.
