National digital transformation must take the development of digital government as a role.

The program is organized by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Communications . The forum takes place over 2 days, May 24-25, with 6 thematic conference sessions, digital solution platform exhibitions and business connection activities.

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said: Green transformation and digital transformation are inevitable trends. Vietnam's digital transformation process is taking place very strongly, extensively and achieving many results. However, digital transformation cannot be done by one person, one organization, one country, one government. Everyone, every component must participate in digital transformation to have digital resources. This is a "gold mine", an endless resource of thinking, creativity and intelligence that the world has created and is exploiting. This is also a new resource, a green resource, helping us to restore natural resources, promoting breakthrough economic development.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha affirmed that national digital transformation must take the development of digital government as a leading role, creating development, solving major issues on socio-economic development, promoting national governance; effective state management; facilitating people and businesses in investment, production and business... Vietnamese technology enterprises need to identify participating in digital transformation as participating in the global market, going out into the world, solving major international problems. The Deputy Prime Minister hopes that 70,000 Vietnamese digital technology enterprises will pioneer reaching out to the world, together creating digital ecosystems, introducing many new and effective economic models; creating new values for the country, and a happy life for the people.

At the forum, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam said that the Vietnam - Asia Digital Transformation Summit 2023 includes many in-depth seminars, experts contributing ideas, direct exchanges, helping the community raise awareness about data and digital transformation. Awareness determines action, correct awareness will lead to correct action, everyone with correct awareness will have the same direction, all for a digital Vietnam.

To create digital data, there must be a digital infrastructure, a digital platform and a system of digital services that are connected, shared and interconnected, thereby forming a national database, initially creating an overall picture of localities, regions, ministries, departments and sectors. Currently, Vietnamese digital technology enterprises have enough resources, technological capacity and experience to solve international problems. Vietnamese digital technology enterprises have developed strongly with internal strength, mastering core design and technology; cooperating to gradually form a complete digital technology ecosystem for Vietnamese organizations and enterprises.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of VINASA, to promote the digital transformation process, Vietnam needs a comprehensive national digital data strategy. The strategy is a methodology and plan to create, connect and use data to achieve the goal of promoting the socio-economy with human resources preparations, data architecture and data governance models. This will be the guideline for creating and exploiting digital data to bring great value to the economy in Vietnam. The digital technology business community expects and is always ready to work side by side with the Government, localities, departments, ministries, branches and organizations to join hands in building models and cooperating in exploiting data to create new services for people and businesses.

In addition to the above important contents, the Vietnam - Asia Digital Transformation Summit 2023, with more than 60 speakers, also focused on discussing specialized sessions including: Digital data infrastructure and information security; Digital transformation in Vietnam - Asia and cooperation opportunities; Connecting and sharing data for Government development, Digital Government; Digital transformation in Finance - Banking; Vietnam - Asia Information Technology Cooperation.

In addition to the main conference sessions, there are also sideline activities such as: Exhibition "Digital solution platform and connecting supply and demand in digital transformation (direct and online)". The forum's activities aim to: Share vision - Introduce solutions - Connect supply and demand in digital transformation.
