On the evening of June 26, information from the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) said that the first day of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam with two subjects of Literature and Mathematics took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. The exam questions of both subjects received positive feedback from society.
However, incorrect information has appeared on the Internet about the leak of exam information during the exam time at an exam site. The National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam has immediately forwarded the information to the technical department of the Ministry of Public Security to investigate the origin, motive, verify, and strictly handle the case. The handling results will be announced by the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam as soon as possible.

In order for the exam to continue to go smoothly, the National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam requests that people not share unverified information that could cause public confusion.
According to a quick report from the Ministry of Education and Training , on the morning of June 26, for the Literature exam, the whole country had 1.14 million candidates taking the exam at 2,494 exam locations with 49,818 exam rooms, reaching a rate of 99.37%. Of which, candidates taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program were 1.12 million, reaching a rate of 99.52% and candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program were more than 17,000 candidates, reaching a rate of 90.65%.
At the end of the Literature exam, 10 candidates nationwide were suspended for violating exam regulations, including 8 candidates using mobile phones and 2 candidates using documents. In the Math exam on the afternoon of June 26, 5 candidates nationwide were suspended for violating exam regulations.
Thus, at the end of the first day of the exam, 15 candidates nationwide were suspended from the exam due to violating exam regulations.
