Speaking at the program, Czech Deputy Minister of Culture David Kašpar said that the Czech Republic and Vietnam have a deep traditional relationship - not only diplomatic or economic relations, but also cultural and people-to-people relations. The Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic today is an inseparable part of Czech society, contributing to diversity, enriching the culture and leaving a clear mark on daily life in the Czech Republic.

He was also pleased to note that Czech culture - music, literature, cinema, theatre - has found a place in the hearts of Vietnamese friends, and he believes that cultural exchanges, joint projects and cooperation in the arts will continue to develop, helping to build even stronger bridges between the two peoples. One such project is the open-air summer exhibition organized by the Museum of Puppetry Culture in Chrudim, which will feature a miniature model of the traditional Vietnamese water puppetry stage and a photo exhibition about this unique art form.

Mr. David Kašpar affirmed that culture has a unique ability to overcome geographical distances, language barriers as well as historical differences. Therefore, he hopes that today's solemn moment will not only be an occasion to remember our common past, but also a call to the future - to continue promoting cultural dialogue, developing friendly relations and creating new opportunities for exchange and mutual enrichment.

Proud of the 75-year journey of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Czech Republic, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong affirmed that this journey marks the loyal friendship and increasingly deep cooperation between the two nations. On the basis of this fine tradition, the two countries have constantly cultivated understanding and trust, not only in the political and economic aspects but also in the fields of culture and art.

Vietnamese culture, with its long history and strong oriental characteristics, has left its mark on Czech friends. In particular, Vietnam highly appreciates the fact that the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic has been recognized as an official ethnic minority of the Czech Republic. This is not only a recognition of the positive contributions of our people to the social life of the host country, but also a vivid symbol of harmonious integration and respect for cultural diversity. Moreover, the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic is also a cultural bridge connecting the two nations, contributing to promoting understanding, solidarity and friendship between the people of the two countries.
