On the morning of July 22, the homepage of Quang Nam Football Club posted information about two possibilities that could happen to the team.

Option 1, thanks to the City People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang to pay attention, direct the search, invite businesses with local factors, establish a football sponsor club with full capacity, enthusiasm and commitment to the development of top football and maintain sustainability to continue to accompany Quang Nam Club and Quang Nam Youth Football Training Center.

Thereby maintaining in Tam Ky area and neighboring communes and wards in the South of Da Nang city a professional, top-notch football playground to contribute to improving the spiritual life of the people, while promoting the development of the tourism - sports economy .

Option 2 proposes to transfer all staff, employees, athletes, and young players of Quang Nam Football Development Joint Stock Company, Quang Nam Football Club, and Quang Nam Youth Football Training Center to SHB Da Nang Sports Joint Stock Company for management.

Before the information was posted on the Facebook page of Quang Nam Club on the morning of July 22, Tuoi Tre Online contacted Mr. Nguyen Trong - head of Quang Nam Club's football team - but his phone number was locked.

This can be considered the last cry for help from the Quang Nam football team in the hope of not being disbanded. If "it does not receive attention from the City People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang", it is likely that the Quang Nam Club will send a letter requesting to officially stop operating.

Previously, on July 21, Quang Nam Club informed the players about the team disbanding, not participating in V-League 2025-2026, merging with SHB Da Nang Club. Accordingly, those who have job opportunities elsewhere can be given the opportunity to leave early. If the team has to merge, the remaining players will return to SHB Da Nang Club.

The situation is now difficult for Quang Nam FC. They may be the first team to lose their name after the merger of provinces and cities. Da Nang City currently has SHB Da Nang football team playing in V-League.

If Quang Nam Club withdraws from the tournament, this will also be a big challenge for the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the V-League operator - VPF Company.
