Da Nang offers 150 million VND reward to find city logo after merger

On the morning of September 20, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced the launch of a contest to create the city's official logo after the merger, with the first prize worth 150 million VND.

According to the organizers, the contest aims to find a new logo that can position the brand, express the desire to develop and promote the image of Da Nang to domestic and international friends. Participants are individuals and organizations at home and abroad.

Each author or group of authors can submit up to 3 works. The works must be original, unpublished, not entered into any other competition and not used for commercial purposes during the competition period.

The organizers encourage authors to exploit the typical elements of Quang Nam - Da Nang such as natural landscapes, heritage, iconic works, dynamic and integrated spirit.

The design should be modern, minimalist, memorable, and applicable in many environments and sizes. In addition to aesthetics, the logo should reflect the city’s cultural identity, spirit of cooperation, and vision for sustainable development.

Entries must be presented on A4 paper, with a thumbnail, color specifications, soft copy and explanation of no more than 300 words.

The prize structure includes one first prize worth 150 million VND and four consolation prizes worth 10 million VND each. The winning work and the one chosen as the official logo will be owned by the People's Committee of Da Nang City.
