England fans face 'beer thirst' at Euro 2024

England will have their final Group C match against Slovenia at 2am on June 26 (Vietnam time). More than 50,000 "Three Lions" fans have begun to flock to Cologne (Germany) to cheer on their team.

But England fans are facing a beer shortage in Cologne after Scottish fans drank it all. According to the Daily Mail , pubs and bars are struggling to replenish the beer after 100,000 Scottish fans drank it all during their 1-1 draw with Switzerland last week.

A manager at a pub in Cologne said: "The Scottish fans drank everything: beer, vodka... Our stock was completely emptied. Other bars too, beer sales were at record levels, even more than carnival. Now we are all trying to get more from the breweries to have drinks for the English fans."

Another pub employee in Cologne told The Sun : "The Scottish fans' beer consumption is really terrible. We've run out of beer and now I'm looking for more to serve the English fans."

England fans had a great time drinking beer in Gelsenkirchen (Germany) for the match against Serbia. But it was not all perfect for the Three Lions in Cologne.

England will face Slovenia in the final match of Group C Euro 2024 at 2:00 a.m. on June 26 (Vietnam time).
