Co.opmart Tam Ky promotes local OCOP products

(QNO) - On the afternoon of April 18, Co.opmart Tam Ky held the opening ceremony of the exhibition program, introducing nearly 30 typical OCOP products of Quang Nam. The event is part of a series of activities responding to the Cooperative Goods Festival 2025 with the theme "Quality reaches the horizon - Peace of mind prices" taking place on April 18 and 19 in the main hall of the supermarket.

The event not only has a purely commercial meaning but also serves as a bridge between producers - distributors - consumers in the journey of spreading local values, bringing hometown specialties closer to the large market.

From OCOP products that have affirmed their brands such as black garlic vermicelli, bird's nest, turmeric starch... to local products such as fish sauce, pennywort powder, herbal tea... all are carefully selected and introduced in a modern, intuitive display space in the main lobby of Co.opmart Tam Ky supermarket.

Not only stopping at display and introduction, many products on this occasion are also applied with deeply discounted prices, ranging from 19,500 - 370,000 VND, depending on the item. Some types of fruits and clean foods are also rotated with a 20% discount, creating more opportunities for customers to access OCOP products in the context of spending increasingly focusing on quality and clear origin.

At the event, OCOP subjects had the opportunity to meet directly with consumers, listen to feedback and promote brand image. At the same time, the program also contributed to realizing the goal of "bringing Vietnamese goods to the countryside and into supermarkets" that Quang Nam province and the Co.opmart system have been implementing for many years.

Sharing at the opening ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Lai - Director of Co.opmart Tam Ky affirmed: "We always consider OCOP not only a business product line, but also a mission to spread local cultural values. Bringing OCOP products to supermarkets not only contributes to diversifying goods, but also a journey to accompany the subjects to develop sustainable products."
