HNX-Index increased by 1.99 points to VND215.9 billion. Trading volume reached more than 83.6 million units, equivalent to VND1,254.2 billion. The entire floor had 100 stocks increasing in price, 81 stocks decreasing in price and 61 stocks remaining unchanged.
UPCOM-Index increased by 0.13 points to 81.21 points. Trading volume reached 45.4 million units, equivalent to more than 561.4 billion VND. The entire floor had 178 stocks increasing in price, 97 stocks decreasing in price and 88 stocks remaining unchanged.
Banking and securities stocks were all in the green, creating momentum for the general market to increase. There were no stocks in the oil and gas group that were in the downtrend; meanwhile, BSR , PLX, POS, PTV, PVC, PVD, and PVS were in the uptrend.
At the same time, real estate stocks also increased in price. The VN30 basket had 16 stocks increasing in price, while 10 stocks decreased in price. Steel stocks performed positively when a series of stocks increased in price such as: DTL, HPG, HSG, KKC, SMC, TLH, VGC.
Although the market increased, the downside was that foreign investors sold quite strongly. Specifically, foreign investors sold more than 468 billion VND on HOSE and nearly 12 billion VND on UPCOM, while only buying 11.65 billion VND on HNX. The stocks with the strongest net sales were VNM with more than 79 billion VND, FUEVFVND fund certificates were sold nearly 59 billion VND, and VND was sold more than 53.3 billion VND.
