Vietnamese traditional costumes in modern life

Walking around the streets during his trip to Hanoi , Mr. Alban (an Italian tourist) was really overwhelmed because it was the first time he saw so many traditional Vietnamese costumes: "The first impression was great because I had heard a lot about Vietnamese people and Vietnamese culture, but seeing and experiencing it directly here was truly unbelievable and wonderful. Therefore, deciding to come to Vietnam was a very good choice, and I am very happy that I chose to come here."

Interestingly, many foreigners are surprised to learn that Vietnam not only has ao dai but also possesses a rich treasure of traditional costumes, associated with thousands of years of history.

It is these sophisticated ancient costumes that have opened up a completely new perspective on the creativity and depth of Vietnamese culture.

Arriving in Hanoi for 3 days, Richard and Cheryl (British tourists) also expressed their surprise and delight when admiring and joining the crowd wearing Vietnamese costumes on the streets. He said: "In the colorful costumes, I saw a pure joy from both the performers and the audience. Beautiful and impressive, the costumes were so gorgeous and we saw everyone filled with happiness."

Sharing more about the impressive points of their trip to Vietnam, the British couple said: "Vietnamese people are very friendly, the cities are amazing with architecture beyond expectations. I really love this place. Everyone is very cheerful, making me feel safe when traveling and the food is extremely attractive."

The appearance of young people in colorful and unique Vietnamese traditional costumes has turned the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street into a "living cultural stage", many international tourists have stopped to admire the works of art made from traditional Vietnamese costumes.
