On the evening of June 7, a convincing victory over senior Aryna Sabalenka in the women's singles final of Roland Garros 2025 (French Open) with a score of (6-7, 6-2, 6-4) helped Coco Gauff step up to the top of glory for the first time in Paris.

The sacrifice of parents

Gauff was born on March 13, 2004 in Georgia, USA. The strongest foundation for her extraordinary talent comes from her family. Her parents, Corey and Candi Gauff, are both former outstanding college athletes.

Corey was a basketball player at Georgia State University, while Candi was a track and field player at Florida State University. They sacrificed their own careers to support their daughter's tennis dreams.

The decision to homeschool Gauff allowed her to balance her rigorous training schedule with her studies, creating optimal conditions for her development. Coco Gauff is the eldest of three siblings, with two younger brothers, Cody and Cameron.

Coco Gauff rose to become a phenomenon in the world of tennis at just 15 years old at Wimbledon 2019. Where she shocked the world with her victory over her idol, Venus Williams.
