Bridge of Compassion
"Nurturing Dreams" is a television program with a strong humanitarian focus, demonstrating the care, sharing, and responsibility of the community towards the future generation of the country, especially students who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies. Over the past nearly 10 years, the "Nurturing Dreams" program, a collaboration between Hai Duong Newspaper and Radio and Television Station, Agribank Hai Duong Branch, Agribank Hai Duong II Branch, and the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning, has spread profound humanitarian values. Through this, it has sown seeds of hope for students with special circumstances but who possess the determination to excel in their studies.
Every year, two banks award "Wings of Dreams" scholarships to 52 students in the province, each worth 3 million VND. Through stories broadcast on television, viewers witness shining examples of willpower and perseverance. These students strive to overcome adversity, determined to pursue their dreams of education and build a better future. Each scholarship awarded not only has material value but also serves as encouragement and a source of hope, giving them the strength to not give up.
Having been involved with the program through each episode, reporter Phuong Thao and director Duc Hoan not only report the news but also act as companions, listening and empathizing to connect with love and spread compassion. They have braved long distances and harsh weather to go to the locations, listen, and record the touching stories of resilient students. Therefore, each film clip and each narration is not only informative but also contains human kindness and sharing.

Since its inception, the "Addresses in Need of Assistance" column in the Hai Duong Newspaper and Hai Duong Radio and Television Station has documented hundreds of difficult situations, including people suffering from serious illnesses, lonely elderly people, orphans, etc. Reporters have visited these places to offer encouragement and support, and subsequently written articles appealing to the community for assistance.
For journalist Thanh Nga of Hai Duong Newspaper and Radio-Television Station, although she has produced many different works, the articles in this section always bring her the most emotion. When gathering material for her articles, she always gives a small gift to each case to encourage them and hopes that her articles will be a bridge connecting compassionate hearts with those in need.
Happiness in the profession

Recently, journalist Thanh Nga's article about two twins born deaf and mute in Thanh Mien has gained widespread attention. People in the village, surrounding areas, and those who have moved away from their hometown have joined hands to support the family and alleviate their difficulties. By mid-May, the two children had received over 52 million VND in donations from benefactors. "Every time I receive phone calls or thank-you messages from the subjects, informing me about the support they've received, I feel happy too. These simple things motivate us to love, stay committed to, and feel happy doing our job," Ms. Nga shared.
For over six years, the "Addresses in Need of Help" segment broadcast on Tu Ky District Radio Station has become a trusted source for philanthropists. In some cases, appeals for help have resulted in donations reaching hundreds of millions of dong.
Reporter Nguyen Hoang from Tu Ky District Radio Station regularly publishes articles appealing for charitable donations on the station's airwaves, and also collaborates with Hai Duong Newspaper and Radio-Television Station. These articles, once published, receive support from many agencies, organizations, and individuals, especially from the Tu Ky District Red Cross Society. In addition to allocating funds from its humanitarian budget, the society also appeals for help through its network to assist those in need.
