After a successful year with impressive numbers: an increase of 13.1% in the number of visitors and 22.2% in total revenue compared to 2022, Thanh Hoa tourism industry immediately entered a new journey, in which tourism promotion and advertising received special attention.

Accordingly, in addition to tourism promotion, stimulus, linkage and cooperation activities, the tourism industry has stepped up tourism promotion and advertising on media channels, digital platforms, flights and airports. In particular, it continues to perfect the province's three main product lines including sea tourism, spiritual and cultural tourism, and community eco-tourism. At the beginning of the year, still in the "hibernation" period, Thanh Hoa tourism industry has launched many new products that are suitable for the current trends and preferences of tourists.

Following the success of the stimulus conference, the announcement of new products and typical events in 2023 with more than 70 cultural, sports and tourism events and activities, in 2024, Thanh Hoa tourism industry has had a strong growth in events, with the number more than double that of 2023. 3 days ago, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the events and activities in 2024 and at this conference, 145 cultural, sports and tourism activities and events at tourist areas and spots across the province organized throughout 2024 were officially announced.

The announcement aims to widely and deeply promote typical cultural, sports and tourism activities and events of Thanh Hoa in 2024; introduce new and unique destinations, products and tourism services of the province, contributing to realizing the message "Thanh Hoa Tourism - Four Seasons of Fragrance". Through the announcement information, tourists have a basis to choose destinations and arrange appropriate time to participate in events.

Over the past 3 years that Thanh Hoa province has organized this activity, the number of activities and events announced has increased nearly 4 times compared to the first year. To have such a large number of events and activities requires not only resources, but also determination.

In Thanh land, recently, many new tourist areas have been opened, many roads connecting Thanh with the whole country and roads leading to tourist areas in the province have been put into operation. And now, there is a new road named communication, information leading the way, attracting more visitors to Thanh land. Although it is not a physical road, it is considered a major road, contributing to making tourism truly become the spearhead economic sector of the province, making Thanh Hoa a national tourist center.

The goal set by Thanh Hoa tourism industry in 2024 is to welcome 13.8 million visitors, with total tourism revenue reaching 32,387 billion VND; especially continuing to consolidate and maintain safe, friendly and attractive destinations to create a foundation to promote stronger growth in the coming years. A high goal, but perhaps not too far-fetched if looking at the way the province's tourism industry is doing. Let's wait and see.
