Daughter fell down the well, father jumped down to save her but got stuck

While playing in the yard, the girl fell into a 35m deep well without a lid. Seeing this, the father jumped into the well to save his daughter but unfortunately both of them got trapped.

On the evening of May 17, information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department ( Gia Lai Provincial Police) said that they had just successfully rescued a father and son who had fallen into a deep well, endangering their lives.

Father and son trapped in 35m deep well, life in danger.

Previously, at 1:30 p.m. the same day, D.LL (born in 2016, residing in Group 5, Phu Dong Ward, Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province) was at home when he climbed up the well to play and accidentally fell into the well because the well mouth had no cover.

Upon discovering the incident, the child's father, Mr. D.BD (born in 1985), jumped into the well to save his child, but because the well was deep, while jumping into the well, Mr. D. hit the well wall, causing injury and making it impossible to climb back up.

The family then reported the incident to the police. Immediately upon receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Gia Lai Provincial Police) deployed forces to rescue the victim.

Police successfully rescued two victims and handed them over to medical staff for first aid.

At the scene, the well was 35m deep, the water depth was 1m, the diameter of the well was 1m, the 2 victims in the well were still alive but suffered multiple injuries. In addition, the deep well had a lot of toxic gas, lacked oxygen, so if oxygen was not provided promptly, the 2 victims could die at any time.

Therefore, the rescue team used handheld loudspeakers to exchange information to reassure the victims and used oxygen tanks tied to ropes lowered into the well to immediately provide oxygen to the victims.

At the same time, quickly deploy the deep rescue team, use the CMC confined space rescue kit, isolation gas masks, flashlights and other rescue equipment to bring the victims up.

At 3:25 p.m. the same day, the rescue team brought the two victims safely out of the well and handed them over to medical staff to perform first aid on the spot.

Currently, the health of the two victims has basically stabilized and is being cared for by their families.
