On the evening of July 5, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC-CNCH), Da Nang City Police, said that they had successfully controlled a fire at a factory in an industrial park.

Previously, at 7:49 p.m. the same day, the Da Nang City Police Command Information Center received news of a fire at a factory in Hoa Nhon Industrial Park, Ba Na Commune, Da Nang City.

Determining that the factory fire was at risk of spreading and becoming larger, the Command Information Center mobilized 7 fire trucks, 1 rescue vehicle, 1 fire fighting robot, and 1 smoke extraction vehicle from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to the scene.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force used a fire-fighting robot with a high-capacity fan to blow smoke and a high-capacity nozzle to spray the fire.

After about 30 minutes, the fire was basically under control and there was no longer any risk of it spreading to neighboring areas. By 9:15 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.

The cause and damage are currently being investigated by authorities.
