On the home team side, coach Mano Polking said that in the upcoming important match, Hanoi Police will not have the services of three key players Quang Hai, Viet Anh and Adou Minh due to injury. However, Mr. Polking expressed his confidence in the replacement players.

“I thank the club’s management for building a deep squad. The new players will be given opportunities and I believe they will perform well. After an unsatisfactory opening match, the whole team is determined to win all 3 points against Cebu. Speaking at a press conference, Dynamic Herb Cebu head coach Glenn Ramos appreciated the quality of the home team's squad, but affirmed that his team had prepared thoroughly and aimed to win all three points.

“I am very excited to return to Vietnam to face a strong team like Hanoi Police. We respect our opponents but are ready to win,” Mr. Ramos emphasized.

The Filipino strategist said he highly appreciated the opponents in Group A, especially the two representatives of Thailand (Buriram United, Pathum United) and Hanoi Police. He also praised striker Alan - a foreign player who is playing outstandingly for the capital team.

“I watched the most recent match between Hanoi Police and Beijing Guoan at the AFC Cup. They have a well-balanced squad, with many quality foreign players. Alan is a dangerous striker, and we need to pay special attention. But we came here to face the strongest team in the V-League at the moment, with serious preparation and a spirit of victory,” coach Ramos affirmed.
