On October 31, in Hoa Binh, Colonel Do Thanh Binh - Director of the Provincial Police Department emphasized that sending investigators to the commune-level police is a correct policy of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security.
The arrangement of investigators at the commune-level police will maximize the position and role of the commune-level police in crime prevention and control; the work of receiving and handling denunciations and reports of crimes, and resolving cases will be carried out right at the grassroots level.

Accordingly, 93 officers were appointed as investigators as Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs of Commune-level Police. The Provincial Police Director assessed that those appointed are officers with capacity, experience, spirit and responsibility in investigation and reconnaissance work, with the ability to research, synthesize and propose measures in the fight against, prevention and control of crime.
This is a new feature in the organization of cadres of the Provincial Police compared to previous years, with the policy of building the Commune-level Police force into a strong, comprehensive, and combative grassroots Police force, playing an important role in ensuring security, order, fighting, and suppressing all types of crimes and law violations at the grassroots level.
Previously, on October 29, Ca Mau Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce and hand over decisions of the Provincial Police Director on appointing investigators at the Police of communes, wards and towns in the province.
This time, 32 officers who are Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs of Commune, Ward and Town Police in Ca Mau province were appointed as Investigators. Of these, 16 were appointed as Intermediate Investigators and 16 as Primary Investigators.
Colonel Pham Minh Luy - Deputy Director, Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Ca Mau Provincial Police emphasized that the appointed officers are assessed to have capacity, experience and sense of responsibility in investigation and reconnaissance work; have the ability to research, synthesize and propose measures in the fight against and prevention of crime.
In the coming time, Ca Mau Provincial Police will organize professional training to continue appointing investigators at the remaining commune, ward and town police stations in the province.
Also last week, Colonel Dinh Kim Lap - Deputy Director, Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Thuan Provincial Police presented the Decision to appoint the position of investigator to 30 officers who are commanders of commune-level police in the province.
The Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department affirmed that appointing investigators to commune-level police commanders is a timely response to the requirements of crime prevention and control in the new situation.
