If the units and contractors do not seriously and resolutely implement, they will not be able to ensure the progress of completing construction, handing over and putting into use 4,285 houses for households before August 15, 2025 as required by the Government and the province.
On July 30, Dak Lak Provincial Police said that after more than 4 months of implementing the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in Dak Lak province, the Provincial Police have started construction of 4,268/4,285 houses, reaching 99.6%, of which 2,605 houses have been completed and handed over to people for use, reaching 60.7%.
Up to now, Dak Lak Provincial Police have received and allocated the total project implementation budget of 342 billion 800 million VND with a total of 4,285 houses, equivalent to 80 million VND per house, equal to 100% of the project implementation budget.
According to Dak Lak Provincial Police, after more than 4 months of implementation, in addition to the advantages, there are many difficulties and obstacles, so the set targets and progress have not been met. If the units and contractors do not seriously and resolutely implement, the progress of completing the construction, handing over and putting into use 4,285 houses for households before August 15, 2025 as required by the Government and the province will not be guaranteed.
To speed up the project completion, Major General Phan Thanh Tam, Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police, requested units assigned according to their functions and tasks to urgently advise and propose immediate solutions to difficulties and obstacles affecting the progress; urge contractors to speed up the progress, soon complete and hand over to people for use for houses that have been and are under construction.
At the same time, organize the groundbreaking of all remaining qualified houses before August 4, 2025. The Commune and Ward Police Command must regularly be present in the area, closely monitor the construction, grasp difficulties and problems regarding materials and construction progress to promptly discuss with the staff units to find solutions and handle them.
Particularly for contractors, construction units, and material suppliers, the Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police Department suggested that it is necessary to clearly identify this as a social security project, supporting the poor to stabilize their lives, so it is necessary to focus on arranging workers, technical means, machinery, equipment and materials scientifically to serve the implementation of mass house construction in the province, ensuring the proposed progress and quality.
In particular, for remote areas with difficult traffic conditions, there must be a reasonable plan for transportation and human resource arrangement to ensure the completion of the Project according to the assigned schedule.
