In the first 6 months of 2025, the provincial police force has resolutely implemented solutions to combat, prevent and combat crime; social order crimes decreased by 95 cases, down more than 27% compared to the same period in 2024; the rate of investigation and discovery of social order cases reached 90.9%; in particular, the rate of investigation and discovery of very serious and especially serious crimes reached 100%.
The rate of handling denunciations, reports of crimes and recommendations for prosecution reached 83.7%. Detected and destroyed 49 cases/110 criminals in the fields of economic management order, corruption, and positions; 15 cases/14 criminals in the fields of environment and food safety; 130 cases/274 drug criminals. Arrested and persuaded 9 wanted criminals to surrender.
Well implementing the tasks of Project 06 and receiving and handling administrative procedures, the rate of receiving and handling online public services under the functions and tasks of the Public Security force reached 93.86%.
Many large and complex cases were successfully investigated. Notably, the cooperation with professional units of the Ministry of Public Security and Ho Chi Minh City Police successfully dismantled a transnational and inter-provincial drug trafficking case on the internet, seizing more than 170kg of marijuana and prosecuting 16 defendants.
Successfully broke up a large-scale case of illegal invoice trading on the internet, seizing more than 3,000 VAT invoices, related to 15,395 organizations and individuals nationwide with the value of goods before VAT recorded on the invoices being nearly 7,000 billion VND.
Tuyen Quang Provincial Police strives to reduce at least 5% of social order crimes in the last 6 months of 2025 compared to 2024; build 25% of communes free of drugs, 100% of communes and towns free of organized crime; strictly implement peak periods of crime prevention, smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and poor quality goods; ensure that 100% of communes have regular police forces operating effectively, doing a good job of grasping the situation and managing the area; promote the implementation of Project 06, raising the rate of receiving and handling online public services to over 95%.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results in the first 6 months of 2025 achieved by the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police force, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring security, order and traffic safety in the province.
He suggested that in the last 6 months of 2025, the police force continue to closely monitor the area, grasp the situation, and resolutely not be passive or surprised in any situation. The focus is on ensuring security and safety for major events in the province, especially the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day, National Day September 2 and the Thanh Tuyen Festival 2025.
He also requested that the provincial police continue to do well in Party building and force building, proactively do well in training and fostering the contingent of officers and soldiers, especially commune-level police, to meet the requirements of tasks after the merger.
On the basis of firmly grasping, analyzing, evaluating and forecasting the situation, the Provincial Police proactively advise and propose to the provincial Party Committee and government effective policies and solutions, preventing risks and conflicts early and from afar, avoiding passivity and surprise, ensuring political security, maintaining social order and safety, contributing to socio-economic development.
Along with that, the force builds plans and projects to serve the successful organization of party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
At the same time, continue to effectively implement digital transformation tasks in the Public Security sector; well implement Project 06, administrative reform, serve people and businesses; strongly fight against all types of crime, especially drug, economic and high-tech crimes; strengthen Party building work, build a clean and strong force.
On this occasion, 2 collectives were awarded the Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "For National Security" in 2024; 4 individuals were awarded the title "Emulation Fighter of the entire People's Public Security Force" by the Minister of Public Security for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "For National Security" from 2022 to 2024, contributing to protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.
