On the evening of October 10, in Ho Chi Minh City, within the framework of the 2023 Entrepreneur and Book Week, Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications and Ho Chi Minh City Book Street to organize the Entrepreneur and Book Gala. Here, the Organizing Committee announced 5 favorite Vietnamese business books in 2023.
This is the third year that the Entrepreneur and Book Week has taken place. According to Mr. Tran Hoang, Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine, Chairman of the Entrepreneur Book Council, with the theme "Believe in yourself", the Organizing Committee hopes to work with entrepreneurs to overcome all difficulties and challenges to participate in writing books, sharing knowledge and lessons learned with the community. Because every book that entrepreneurs leave behind is also a business value.

“In addition, entrepreneurs have great influence and inspiration for young people. Therefore, we hope that entrepreneurs will be ambassadors spreading the passion for reading and writing to young people. Through that, their life lessons, success and dedication will spread to the community and society,” Mr. Tran Hoang added.
After the launch, the Organizing Committee received nearly 150 nominated books from 20 publishing units, joint publishing and book distribution units. At the gala, the Organizing Committee honored 5 favorite Vietnamese business books in 2023; honored 10 business books worth reading in 2023. These books are displayed at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street until October 16.

As one of the 10 authors whose books are on the list of 10 business books worth reading in 2023 with the publication Business Ethics , author Nguyen Anh Dung, Director of Sbooks expressed: “Business for me is not simply buying and selling, meeting supply and demand, but also serving. That is why I choose books - a cultural and artistic product. Therefore, I realize that first and foremost, the most necessary thing for a startup is product philosophy.”

According to businesswoman Le Thi Thanh Lam, author of the book The Mentor , books are great mentors. She explains: “If we want to meet a real mentor, we have to make an appointment, spend time meeting, talking, and listening to each other. But with books, when we need them, we just need to take them down and read them. Therefore, books are great mentors, we don’t need to make an appointment to meet them, we can always meet them.”
