Announcement of decisions on the organization of the Provincial Tax Party Committee

On the afternoon of July 25, Quang Tri Provincial Tax Department held a conference to announce decisions on the organization of the Tax Party Committee and review tax work in the first 6 months of the year, and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025. Attending were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Quang Anh.

At the conference, Quang Tri Provincial Tax Department announced the decision to establish the Provincial Tax Party Committee on the basis of merging the Party Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Tax Department (old) and the Party Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Tax Department (old), under the Party Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee. The Executive Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Tax Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term consists of 15 comrades, the Standing Committee has 5 comrades. Head of Quang Tri Provincial Tax Department Ha Van Khoa was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary for the 2025-2030 term.

The conference also announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to appoint the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Tax Party Committee and the Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Tax Party Committee.

The Provincial Tax Party Committee also announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Party Cells under the Quang Tri Provincial Tax Party Committee, term 2025 - 2027.

Immediately after the announcement, the Quang Tri Provincial Tax Department conducted a preliminary review of tax work in the first 6 months of the year and deployed tasks for the last 6 months of the year. Accordingly, tax work in the first 6 months of 2025 achieved important results, with total budget revenue reaching 5,324.2 billion VND, reaching 61.9% of the central budget estimate, 57% of the provincial budget estimate and increasing by 122% over the same period last year.

Of the 18 revenue items, 15 items achieved progress of over 50% of the estimate and 11 items increased compared to the same period, while 3 items did not meet progress: environmental protection tax, non- agricultural land use tax and production and business revenue.

Quang Tri Provincial Tax Department has set out 6 tasks and 7 key solution groups, with the goal of completing the revenue estimate of 9,338 billion VND assigned by the Provincial People's Council in 2025.
