Announcement of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee's decision on personnel matters.

TPO - Leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Internal Affairs have announced the decision of the City People's Committee approving the election results of Mr. Vo Huu Thang, District Party Committee member and Head of the Urban Management Department of Can Gio District, 11th term, 2021-2026, as Vice Chairman of the Can Gio District People's Committee.

On May 23rd, at the People's Committee of Can Gio District, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to present appointment decisions to officials.

At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Internal Affairs, announced the decision of the City People's Committee approving the election results of Mr. Vo Huu Thang, District Party Committee member and Head of the Urban Management Department of Can Gio District, 11th term, 2021-2026, as Vice Chairman of the Can Gio District People's Committee.

Earlier on the afternoon of May 9th, the People's Council of Can Gio District held its 12th session (special session) of the 11th term, 2021-2026, to elect a Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee. As a result, Mr. Vo Huu Thang, District Party Committee member and Head of the Urban Management Department of Can Gio District, was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 11th term, 2021-2026.

Speaking to congratulate the new Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Gio District, the Secretary of the Can Gio District Party Committee, Nguyen Phuoc Hung, expressed his hope that in his new position, Mr. Vo Huu Thang will continue to utilize his experience, abilities, and strengths, and together with the leadership team of the District People's Committee, successfully direct and manage the implementation of political tasks, socio-economic development, and national defense and security in the locality.

In his acceptance speech, Vice Chairman of the Can Gio District People's Committee Vo Huu Thang thanked the city and district leaders for their trust and confidence, and stated that he would continue to train, strive, and constantly learn to improve his political acumen and professional skills, determined to work together with the leadership team of the District People's Committee to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
