Announcing the top 25 Miss Vietnam 2024

After a month of training, equipped with catwalk skills, choreography and demeanor, 41 contestants had impressive performances, trying to prove their remarkable maturity.

The final night of Miss Vietnam 2024 was held in Hanoi after a four-month journey across three regions of the country, from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City, Hue City, to the heroic land of Quang Tri and back to Hanoi.

Sticking to the theme Radiant Vietnam and the four pillars of beauty-culture-intelligence-dedication, the Miss Vietnam final night brought the audience to a cultural space full of art through a stage inspired by the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

41 contestants went through the Ao Dai, swimsuit and evening gown performances. This year, for the first time, Miss Vietnam contestants had to go through two qualifying rounds on the final night.

After the evening gown competition, the second qualifying round took place. From 32 contestants, the Organizing Committee announced the list of top 25 contestants entering the national final round of Miss Vietnam taking place in June in Hue city.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam 2024 - affirmed that having two qualifying rounds in this year's final round is a very strong innovation of the Organizing Committee.

“This brings drama and competition through each round so that contestants and audiences can feel the pressure and competition in the final round. Second, this shows that the judges are very fair, objective and accurate in their scoring,” said journalist Phung Cong Suong.

Sharing about the number of top 25 contestants entering the final round, journalist Phung Cong Suong said that this is a quantitative structure but the organizing committee always emphasizes the quality of the contestants.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong commented that this year the contestants are all equal in terms of body shape, beauty, education, age, talent, etc. Therefore, finding 25 outstanding contestants is very difficult. There are also many conflicting opinions among the judges because the boundaries are very thin.

The Head of the Organizing Committee also affirmed that this is one of the largest-scale final nights ever, showing the stage and artistic quality. "This is one of the rare times when the contestants have the most thorough practice with the director, so it has created a final night that is explosive in emotions, bringing many artistic values," he said.

Misses Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy and Do Thi Ha, who have achieved much success after being crowned Miss Vietnam.

More than 3,000 spectators watched the competition live at Quan Ngua Sports Palace, constantly cheering for the captivating performances, adding motivation and confidence to the contestants.

The outstanding candidate, who possesses all the pillars of beauty, culture, intelligence and dedication, will be crowned, win the prestigious crown and become the worthy successor of Miss Thanh Thuy in Hue in June.
