Economic Zone Trade Union: Providing support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

(QBĐT) - On March 29-30, the Provincial Economic Zone (EZ) Trade Union coordinated with localities and grassroots trade unions to directly provide support to 7 poor households who are building houses under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province with a total amount of 65 million VND.

Providing support to Mr. Luc Van Bang's family in Cau Loi village, Xuan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa).

Responding to the movement "Each Trade Union has at least one activity to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province in 2025 launched by the Standing Committee of the Economic Zone Trade Union, in recent times, Trade Unions have actively responded with many practical and effective activities.

In the first phase, 2 trade unions supported 65 million VND for 7 poor households who are building houses under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Quang Ninh , Le Thuy and Minh Hoa districts.

Specifically, the Trade Union of S&D Quang Binh Company Limited mobilized union members and employees to voluntarily donate 30 million VND and allocated 30 million VND from the Trade Union budget to support 6 poor households in Minh Hoa and Le Thuy districts, each household received 10 million VND.

The Trade Union of Vinh Ninh Bioenergy Joint Stock Company also mobilized 5 million VND to support a poor household living right next to the company headquarters (Vinh Ninh commune, Quang Ninh).

These joint activities have promptly encouraged poor households to soon complete the construction of their houses to put them into use and stabilize their lives.

Providing support to Mr. Nguyen Van Thong's family in Le Ky village, Vinh Ninh commune (Quang Ninh).

In the coming time, the Economic Zone Trade Union will continue to mobilize cadres, union members, and workers in industrial parks and economic zones to actively participate in the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" for poor and near-poor households, striving to complete the goal of supporting 30 poor families in the province.
