(Viglacera) – To celebrate International Women’s Day March 8 and the Anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, the Viglacera Corporation – JSC Trade Union has carried out many activities to honor the female labor force, while encouraging the spirit of solidarity and unanimous efforts for the development of Viglacera. The exciting and meaningful welcoming activities have attracted a large number of female union members to participate, creating a joyful, warm and impressive atmosphere.

Organizing response to "Ao Dai Week"

Responding to "Ao Dai Week 2025", the Corporation's Trade Union launched and encouraged female union members to wear Ao Dai from March 1 to March 8, 2025 when participating in activities celebrating traditional days as well as major holidays and events of the unit, especially focusing on March 8, 2025 to spread the beauty of traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai.

The Corporation's Trade Union also increased propaganda and promotion before, during and after the organization of "Ao Dai Week" activities on the media pages of the units to affirm and honor the value of Ao Dai - Vietnamese cultural heritage in social life.

The program “Giving Ao Dai, Giving Love, Preserving Traditional Beauty” has entered its third year. Accordingly, many female union members and workers in difficult circumstances in mountainous, remote and isolated areas have received gifts of love and national cultural identity from Viglacera.

On this occasion, the Corporation's Trade Union mobilized female union members and workers to actively respond to movements and activities; build exemplary factors, typical and advanced examples among female union members and workers, thereby discovering many typical examples to introduce to the General Confederation to award the "Dynamic, Creative, Responsible Female Union Members" Award...

Not only in March but throughout the 2025 plan, many programs for women's development will be implemented. Accordingly, the Trade Union and the Women's Union of Viglacera Corporation pay attention to and proactively learn and grasp the aspirations, living conditions and work of female union members and employees in order to promptly detect difficulties, obstacles and new issues in implementing policies and regimes for female workers. This is an experience drawn from the practical activities of the Trade Union and the women's movement of the Corporation. It is also necessary to promptly advise the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Trade Union at all levels to resolve difficulties and shortcomings in implementing female labor policies, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of female workers through frank dialogue.
