The large business community is ready to be a bridge to support and lead the SMEs community to join the Nation in reaching out into the "new era".

Businessman Pham Dinh Doan - Chairman of Phu Thai Group attended the National Conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

That spirit was affirmed at the National Conference on the dissemination and implementation of Resolution No. 66 and Resolution No. 68 organized by the Politburo and the Secretariat on the morning of May 18 in Hanoi. The conference took place at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House, connecting online to more than 11,000 points nationwide. Here, senior leaders of the Party and State - including General Secretary To Lam, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - presented, disseminated and directed the implementation of these two important resolutions. In particular, Resolution 68 emphasized the requirement to develop the private economic sector in a substantial, effective and sustainable manner, contributing to improving the endogenous capacity and competitiveness of the Vietnamese economy.

 

Phu Thai's proactive announcement of its long-term development strategy and implementation of initiatives to support SMEs right before the Conference is a clear demonstration of the pioneering role, social responsibility and capacity of Vietnamese private enterprises in realizing important resolutions of the Party - accompanying the State in creating a self-reliant, modern and integrated economy.

Speaking at the National Conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW, dated April 30, 2025 of the Politburo on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that after nearly 40 years of persistently implementing the Doi Moi process, our country has achieved great achievements, which can be said to be great achievements: continuous economic growth, improved people's lives, and constantly consolidated international position.

We have the right to be proud, but we must also frankly admit that there are many fierce challenges ahead, requiring us not to be subjective, not to rest on our laurels, not to delay, and even more so to constantly innovate, reform, promote all resources and motivations in society and among the people, to implement them in a profound, comprehensive, drastic manner, and with determination to achieve the great goals set. The innovations and reforms that we are implementing are not only objective requirements of development but also orders from the future of the nation."

Phu Thai Group: A pioneering large enterprise implementing Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW

Shortly before the National Conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW dated April 30, 2025 of the Politburo on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development, Phu Thai Group announced its "Development Strategy for the period 2025 - 2033", marking a turning point on the journey towards its 40th anniversary in 2033.

Mr. Pham Dinh Doan - Chairman of Phu Thai Group said that the announcement of this strategy is a practical action, demonstrating the pioneering spirit in response to Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo, on developing the private economy into an important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy. Phu Thai establishes the role of a "core enterprise" in the private sector - leading the innovation of governance models, applying technology and joining forces with businesses to promote sustainable growth.

“Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo sets a very specific goal: by 2030, there will be 2 million enterprises operating in the economy, 20 enterprises operating/thousand people; at least 20 large enterprises participating in the global value chain; the average growth rate will reach about 10 - 12%/year, higher than the growth rate of the economy; contributing about 55 - 58% of GDP, 35 - 40% of total state budget revenue; creating jobs for about 84 - 85% of the total workforce; labor productivity will increase by an average of about 8.5 - 9.5%/year; technology level, capacity, innovation, digital transformation will be among the top 3 ASEAN countries and the top 5 Asian countries.

To achieve the above goals, in addition to the Party's guidelines, policies and the State's laws, the efforts of the business community and entrepreneurs themselves play a key role. In particular, the formation and rapid development of medium and large enterprises, regional and global private economic groups to become the locomotives leading, connecting and supporting small and medium enterprises to develop together is of special significance. The strategy "Phu Thai 2033 - Future Ready" demonstrates the Group's strong commitment to enhancing competitiveness, creating a prosperous business ecosystem and proactively leading in the context of the digital economy and global integration. At the same time, affirming the pioneering role in developing the private economy and supporting small and medium enterprises." - Mr. Pham Dinh Doan emphasized.

Ready to accompany small and medium enterprises

One of the important directions in the development strategy just announced by Phu Thai is to accompany Vietnamese SMEs. Phu Thai commits to playing the role of a trusted companion of Vietnamese SMEs - a backbone force in the Vietnamese economy. By sharing resources, experience and market opportunities, the Group hopes to create a network of Vietnamese enterprises for sustainable development. With the goal of joining forces with enterprises - reaching out together, Phu Thai will connect more than 300 Vietnamese SMEs to the Phu Thai ecosystem to share experiences, expand cooperation and promote sustainable development.

In addition, the Group will provide comprehensive support, from strategy to implementation, accompanying Vietnamese SMEs in strategic consulting, optimizing operations, connecting capital and investing in innovative projects. Support the development of Vietnamese brands internationally, aiming to build a national image with high-quality, environmentally friendly products.

At the same time, Phu Thai established an Investment Council consisting of domestic and foreign experts to deploy the SME Investment Fund, combining capital investment with comprehensive management support to accompany Vietnamese SMEs in sustainable development.

In fact, as one of 22 member enterprises of the Vietnam Leading Enterprises Council under the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in recent times, Phu Thai has affirmed its pioneering role in supporting the SME community.
