Nearly 1.8 million users have switched transport accounts

As of early September 2025, nearly 1.8 million VETC users have completed the conversion. August alone recorded record growth, with the number of bank links increasing 5 times compared to the previous month. The number of conversions is expected to continue to increase strongly in September.

To support users, VETC deploys many solutions such as: Instructions on the app, support network at toll stations, inspection centers, car showrooms and hotline 1900 6010 operating 24/7.

After October 1, only identified and linked payment accounts are allowed to top up to use the non-stop toll lane (ETC). Traffic accounts do not contain money, only store identification information. All payments are made via the VETC e-wallet. The remaining balance can be withdrawn or continued to be used, all transactions are transparent and traceable.

This account not only serves through toll stations but also connects to services such as parking, inner-city tickets, petrol and urban utilities.
