On September 20, 2025, publisher Elsevier and a research group from Stanford University (USA) announced the 7th edition of the database on the world's most influential scientists in 2025, based on citation data from Scopus up to the end of 2024.
According to this announcement, Vietnam has 9 scientists ranked in the group of 10,000 world scientists and about 70 scientists ranked in the group of 100,000 scientists with world influence citations in 2025./.
