Vietnam's mark at the Food and Culture Festival in Macau

The 25th annual food and culture festival organized by the Tourism Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region (China) is attracting a large number of visitors every day.

The Vietnamese food stall and the performances by the Association of Overseas Vietnamese in Macau not only left a deep impression on local people, but also contributed to promoting Vietnamese culture to international friends.

According to VNA reporters in Hong Kong and Macau, the Vietnamese booth - Pho Viet Nam-Paris Restaurant - is the only representative invited by the Organizing Committee to attend.

In recent days, special dishes such as beef pho, chicken pho, spring rolls, spring rolls, fried spring rolls, pancakes… with the rich, sophisticated flavors of Vietnamese cuisine have been loved, chosen and highly appreciated by many visitors.

Mr. Duong Trung Duc, Chairman of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Macau, Owner of Pho Viet Nam-Paris Restaurant, said that the Food Culture Festival attracts millions of visitors every year. The presence of Vietnamese cuisine at the Festival not only brings visitors exquisite culinary experiences, but also introduces Vietnamese culture through each dish. Many diners come every year to support traditional Vietnamese dishes. Therefore, this year he introduced the shrimp and pork pancake dish and received positive feedback.

Mr. Duong Trung Duc added that with its folk design style, Vietnam's booth received many compliments from the Organizing Committee and customers, bringing an atmosphere rich in Vietnamese identity and attracting many customers to take photos and check in.

Within the framework of the Festival, every year the Association of Overseas Vietnamese in Macau is honored to be invited to participate in Vietnamese cultural exchanges with people and international friends in Macau during the opening and closing weeks.

The Association's amateur artists took advantage of their days off or evenings to practice hard to create excellent performances for the people and tourists.

In the first performance night, 10 performances from provincial and municipal branches were highly appreciated by the audience such as Hello Vietnam, My Homeland Hung Yen , Song of Celebration of the Party, My Homeland Port, You Are a Vietnamese Girl...

The Food and Culture Festival is one of the most anticipated annual events for both residents and visitors to Macau.

This year, in addition to being held concurrently with the Macau Grand Prix like previous years, Macau also hosts five events of the 15th Games, demonstrating a rich multi-industry combination of "tourism, gastronomy, sports and major events," thereby boosting the tourism economy .

This year's festival brings together 140 food stalls from across Macau, nearly 40% of which are participating for the first time, presenting six distinct food zones including "Chinese Food Street," "European Food Street," "Asian Food Street," "Flavor Food Street," "Japanese and Korean Food Street" and "Dessert Street."

During the 17 days of the festival, the Organizing Committee expects to attract millions of visitors to visit, shop, enjoy food, and watch performances every night. The festival will end on November 30./.
