Previously, SpaceX, the famous space company founded by billionaire Elon Musk, announced a plan to invest 1.5 billion USD in Vietnam. This investment is to deploy the Starlink satellite Internet service, promising to bring broadband Internet connection to all regions in Vietnam, especially difficult areas, borders and islands where traditional Internet infrastructure is limited.
The deployment of Starlink service is expected to accelerate digital transformation and narrow the digital divide in Vietnam. However, to achieve optimal efficiency, there needs to be close cooperation between SpaceX and domestic telecommunications enterprises, along with strong investment in infrastructure and supply chains. This cooperation not only benefits the people but also contributes to raising Vietnam's technological position on the world map.
