On that flight, a donated heart from Gia Dinh People's Hospital was transported, bringing hope of life to a patient waiting for an organ transplant at Hue Central Hospital.

As soon as landing at Phu Bai airport at 7:15 a.m., a team of four doctors from Hue Central Hospital quickly brought the organs to the hospital to perform the transplant, bringing new life to life thanks to the noble gesture of the organ donor.

Previously, upon receiving information from the National Organ Transplant Coordination Center, Vietnam Airlines supported the implementation of travel procedures for the medical team to urgently move to Ho Chi Minh City on the night of June 28 to collect organs, ready for the journey to Hue early the next morning.

Because the heart organ is special and requires strict preservation conditions in terms of time, all preparation steps from check-in, security screening to seat arrangement and departure from the apron are given maximum priority by Vietnam Airlines to ensure the golden time for life.

As the national airline, Vietnam Airlines is always deeply aware of its responsibility to the community. Over the years, the airline has not only accompanied in the transportation of organs, but also actively supported the transportation of patients and specialized medical equipment to hospitals across the country.

Since 2018, Vietnam Airlines has officially cooperated with the National Organ Transplant Coordination Center in organ transportation. This cooperation has contributed to giving hope to hundreds of patients, bringing valuable opportunities for recovery across the country.
