Son Tay organizes the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Day.

On the morning of December 11th, the People's Committee of Son Tay Ward and the Ward's Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Committee, in coordination with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, organized the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Day with the participation of 400 officials, Party members, civil servants, union members, association members, armed forces personnel, and residents in the ward.

Over the past period, Son Tay ward has intensified its propaganda efforts through the broadcasting system, Party branch meetings, associations, schools, and agencies, contributing to the widespread dissemination of the humanitarian significance of blood donation to save lives and attracting a large number of people to participate.

The Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation has identified blood donation as the responsibility of every citizen, especially during periods when the health sector frequently faces blood shortages at the end of the year and during the Lunar New Year. The ward aims to build a sustainable blood donation movement by 2025, expand the number of regular blood donors, and increase the supply of safe blood for emergency and treatment purposes.

The blood donation event in Son Tay ward was conducted in a scientific and safe manner. From early morning, many volunteers and residents came to complete the procedures, undergo screening, and participate in blood donation in a serious and compassionate atmosphere.

At the end of the program, the organizing committee received 330 units of safe blood from 400 participants. This result demonstrates the sense of responsibility and compassion of the people, and affirms the coordinated involvement of the political system in promoting blood donation, spreading the message "Every drop of blood given saves a life."
