Việt NamViệt Nam02/04/2024

Kong Chro is a district located in the East of Gia Lai province, about 120 km from Pleiku city. The work of preserving and promoting historical relics is an extremely important goal that contributes significantly to the cause of preserving and promoting the value of the nation's cultural heritage, promoting the process of socio -economic development, improving spiritual life, educating the younger generation and arousing national pride.
Kong Chro has the relic cluster of House foundation, Lake and Ong Nhac treasury in Hlang village, Yang Nam commune, Kong Chro district, belonging to the Tay Son Thuong Dao historical relic complex, which was ranked as a special national relic by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 93/QD-TTg dated January 18, 2022.
Over hundreds of years, the land of "Spiritual Land and Talented People" has created a treasure trove of extremely rich and valuable tangible heritage, deeply humane, firmly uniting the community, educating the tradition of patriotism and the spirit of fighting for independence of our ancestors for future generations.
1. Floor area, Ong Nhac Lake:
This is where Nguyen Nhac used to trade with the Bahnar people and gather uprising forces. The house and lake were used by Nguyen Nhac as a stopover to propagate and mobilize the ethnic groups in the region to respond and support the Tay Son movement.
Nguyen Nhac, the supreme leader of the Tay Son peasant movement in the early stages, traveled to surrounding areas with Mrs. Do under the guise of trading to gather forces to build the movement. Nguyen Nhac and Mrs. Do went to De Hlang village to build houses and build a lake on Prum mountain, gathered soldiers, bought elephants, horses and forest products in this area.
The area of the House Floor and Ong Nhac Lake in Hlang village, Yang Nam commune has been restored with items such as: House Floor (area of 330.6 m2); Ong Nhac Lake made of laterite; Stele House (area of 36 m2); natural stone entrance gate; altar table, incense burner, internal walkway. The surrounding area is protected by a barbed wire fence of about 5,200 m2; in which a monument stele is erected at the structure made of 2 m2 granite, with a concrete road connecting from the inter-commune road to the Relic Site, to create favorable travel conditions for people and tourists to visit, research and study. The restoration has contributed to effectively promoting, introducing and protecting the Relic Site.
2. Mr. Nhac Vault Area:
The vault is about 3.5 km southwest of the Nen Nha area, Ong Nhac Lake, located on a section of H'lang stream. This section of the stream has many blocks of stone stacked on top of each other, forming many rock niches and crevices. Many local people as well as different surveys have found many ancient coins in this area, mostly Chinese and Vietnamese coins from before the Tay Son period.
The total current area is 3,300m2, the current Treasury is a hidden stone niche on the bank of a stream (a branch of Hlang stream, Yang Nam commune), currently not invested in, renovated, zoned for protection, difficult to access. The infrastructure is almost non-existent, making it difficult to organize sightseeing activities and introduce and promote this relic.
At the end of 2021, the People's Committee of Kong Chro district coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province to plan the historical relic site of Ong Nhac House, Lake, and Vault in Yang Nam commune, Kong Chro district, with the planned area of Ong Nhac House, Lake is 28,349.6 m2; The planned area of Ong Nhac Vault is 18,392.9 m2, submitted to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Government for consideration and approval, and have a plan for investment and restoration in the future.

The video was promoted on the district's information portal, on Zalo, Facebook, on YouTube, and on propaganda channels of districts, towns, and cities in the province about the eco-tourism area, Tay Son Thuong Dao historical relic, gong cultural space and many environmental landscapes, introducing the district's tourism potential. In 2023, in coordination with Gia Lai Provincial Radio and Television Station, we will produce a documentary, promote investment, and introduce the district's potential advantages.
Historical relics are the assets of previous generations passed down to present and future generations. Therefore, preserving and promoting the values of historical relics in the district is a concrete demonstration of our patriotism and gratitude to our ancestors, cultivating the good traditions of our ancestors, which are the source, preserved and passed down to future generations, and at the same time, are the endogenous strength for sustainable socio-economic development./.
