Journalist Wei Wei emphasized that in the current globalization process, countries and peoples are influenced by the world situation and trends of the times. Among the key tasks of the diplomatic sector in the 2020-2030 period, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has directed to focus on proactively integrating comprehensively, deeply and effectively into the international community; maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, constantly enhancing Vietnam's international position and prestige. General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has clearly identified the motto of independent and autonomous diplomacy, in line with Vietnam's national interests, maintaining friendly and cooperative relations with neighboring countries and major countries, adhering to the "4 no's" policy stated in the 2019 Defense White Paper, and at the same time having flexible diplomatic measures... Mr. Wei Wei believes that the "bamboo diplomacy" style under the direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong can be described by the phrase "clear political stance, flexible diplomatic methods".

Referring to the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the cause of national construction and development in Vietnam in recent times, journalist Nguoi Vi stated that on May 16, 2021, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong wrote an article on the issue of socialism, "Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam". The article then became the main theoretical viewpoint of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the new development period in Vietnam, especially deciding on fundamental issues such as the path and direction of socialist development in Vietnam, affirming the superiority of the socialist regime, pointing out the correctness of Vietnam's development path in the direction of socialism, summarizing new experiences in theoretical innovation of the Communist Party of Vietnam and achievements in Vietnam's Doi Moi cause. With the leadership and guidance of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam has achieved great achievements in the cause of building socialism, bringing about great and positive changes for the country. Vietnam's achievements in Doi Moi show that socialist-oriented development not only achieves positive economic results but also better solves social problems.

Regarding Vietnam-China relations, journalist Wei Wei recalled the event from October 30 to November 1, 2022, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong paid an official visit to China right after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China closed, becoming the first foreign leader that the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping welcomed after the 20th Congress, listening to General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Xi Jinping directly introduce the situation related to the 20th Congress. This demonstrates the importance of Vietnam's international position and the friendly relationship between the two Parties and the two countries of China and Vietnam. After that, leaders of the Party and Government of Vietnam such as Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai, and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited China one after another, highlighting the positive trend in exchanges and cooperation between China and Vietnam.
