KLW Vietnam Garment Joint Stock Company (KLW Vietnam) was established in 2013, specializing in processing garment products for export. After more than 10 years of operation, from 2 sewing lines with 4 customers, exporting more than 1.1 million products/year, up to now, the company has developed many new customers with 1.7 million exported products/year; creating jobs for more than 600 workers. Currently, the company is a trusted partner of world- famous brands such as DKNY, Eddie Bauer, Vineyard Vines, Toray, PUMA, Hugo Boss, Tommy Bahama, Master, LA, ALO ...
In particular, in August 2023, KLW Vietnam achieved WRAP Gold certification, creating an important milestone affirming the company's brand, contributing to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese garment industry.
Previously, KLW Vietnam also participated in the Better Work Program with the motto "Working Better" and achieved the Higg FEM 2021/2022 Certification. This affirms KLW Vietnam's commitment to continuously improve product quality, ensure compliance with international standards, protect the environment, save energy, and aim for sustainable business development.
With the strategy of “Taking people as the center”, as soon as it started operating, the company sent its staff to China for training and experience learning, then implemented the production strategy at the enterprise. After nearly 1 year of production, more than 4,700 DKNY brand products were exported for the first time to the US, Canada and Netherlands markets. Following that success, the company’s production capacity was increasingly improved, in 2015, KLW Vietnam completed exporting more than 60 thousand products to the US market under the Vineyard Vines brand.
In order to save costs and improve product productivity, the company has changed its production management strategy by arranging the sewing line diagram, orienting production lines according to product types, merging 3 sewing workshops into a unified entity; assigning key staff and workers to study, improve their professional skills, learn production management processes; establishing an inline control system for the team, promptly warning of errors arising during the production process.
Changing production strategies and improving workers' qualifications and skills helped the company receive FOB orders for the Routine brand and produce more than 7 million masks in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Continuously strengthening product quality - the sustainable value of the enterprise, the company has established a Business Improvement Advisory Board consisting of a number of employees and representatives of the Board of Directors. Thereby, the production method using baskets with many limitations in management has been improved into a conveyor system that overcomes most of the limitations in goods management, ensures 5S, streamlines the production line, and saves maximum costs for the enterprise.
Not only focusing on production and business efficiency, KLW Vietnam also always cares about and looks after the lives of workers; ensuring salary and insurance regimes according to the law.
Regularly organize many practical activities such as flower arrangement competitions; organize football tournaments between workshops; visit and give gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances and reward the company's children with high academic achievements.
It is the attention and care of the Board of Directors and the company's trade union that has created trust for employees to be attached to the company, consider the company as their second home, be willing to work overtime, actively research and propose technical solutions to apply in production to benefit the company, and promote business development.
To achieve the goal of exporting 2 million products/year and finding new customers, the company continues to train and recruit more qualified and capable personnel to carry out complex transactions and make detailed plans. At the same time, it sends staff and workers for training abroad to access new technologies and new knowledge; researches the process of using recycled materials to minimize the negative impact of the garment supply chain on the environment.
