Da Nhim - Ham Thuan Hydropower Joint Stock Company

As a business operating in the three provinces of Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, and Lam Dong , in addition to striving to produce and sell electricity, Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company (DHD) always actively carries out social welfare work and focuses on fulfilling its tax obligations to the local government.

Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company currently manages and operates the following hydropower plants: Da Nhim (240MW), Song Pha (7.5MW), Ham Thuan (300MW), Da Mi (175MW), and Da Mi Solar Power Plant (47.5MWp). Annually, the company supplies an average of 2.7 billion kWh to the national grid. Adhering to the policies and directions of EVNGENCO1 (Vietnam Electricity Generation Corporation 1), in 2023 the company closely coordinated with relevant levels and sectors in the three provinces of Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan in carrying out its production and business tasks to complete the set plan, thereby contributing to the overall development of these localities.

Accordingly, in 2023, the hydrological conditions at the Don Duong and Ham Thuan hydropower reservoirs were relatively favorable. Water inflow into both reservoirs was higher than the multi-year average. With the stable operation of the project's equipment, the entire company produced 3.10 billion kWh of electricity, including 3.04 billion kWh from the hydropower plants and 62 million kWh from the Da Mi solar power plant. With this output, the company supplied 735 million m³ of water to Ninh Thuan province, 120 million m³ to Don Duong district in Lam Dong province, and 1.8 million m³ to Binh Thuan province for power generation and environmental flow maintenance, serving domestic use and agricultural cultivation. The positive results in production and business have enabled the hydropower company to successfully fulfill its tax obligations to the local authorities. Specifically, in 2023, the company contributed over 758.7 billion VND to the local budgets of these three provinces through various taxes and fees, including: corporate income tax, value-added tax, resource tax, personal income tax, land rent, business license tax, forest environmental service fees, water resource exploitation rights fees, etc. In Binh Thuan province alone, the company contributed 285 billion VND to the provincial budget through taxes and fees.

Furthermore, the company consistently strives to improve the operation, repair, and maintenance of its generating units, ensuring safe and continuous electricity production, and meeting the operational requirements of the National Power System Dispatch Center. In production, the company also promotes the application of information technology and fosters technical innovation in management, production, and business, yielding many practical results. In addition, the company prioritizes community relations to contribute to improving the lives of people in the areas where its power plants are built and to share the difficulties faced by local authorities in social welfare work. Each year, the company initiates social welfare activities through the "Spring of Love, Warmth of Tet" program, sending gifts to families in difficult circumstances, conveying the warm feelings of its employees to the local people before the New Year.

As Spring 2024 arrives, every officer and worker of the company continues to work tirelessly day and night to ensure a continuous supply of electricity and abundant water for downstream areas.
