Asia Italian Door Industry Co., Ltd.: Many activities towards the poor and workers

The union meal was organized by the company's grassroots union on April 4, creating joy and uniting all workers.

Warm "Union Meal"

In the early days of April 2025, more than 1,000 union members and workers at the Asia Italian Door Technology Company Limited (Khanh Binh Ward, Tan Uyen City) had the opportunity to sit together in the "Union Meal" program. The meal cost 120,000 VND/meal, 100% sponsored by the company. The meal included rice rolls, spring rolls, pork rolls, sticky rice and milk tea.

Talking about the meaning of the “Union Meal”, Ms. Le Thi Huong, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Asia Italian Door Technology Co., Ltd., shared: “Instead of having to deduct a part of the union budget to implement the program, Asia Italian Door Technology Co., Ltd.’s Trade Union received enthusiastic support from the enterprise in taking care of the lives of workers. Every 3 months, the company supports organizing meals like this for all union members and workers. This is also an opportunity for everyone to share, contribute ideas, and build a stronger trade union organization.”

Ms. Le Thi Huong added that recently, the work of employees at the company has been quite stable, with overtime, so the average monthly income of employees has reached over 10 million VND, in some cases reaching 15 million VND/month. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, employees will receive a bonus of 2-3 months of basic salary, along with many other care regimes. On holidays, the Trade Union organizes recreational activities, taking care of union members and employees in difficult circumstances. In particular, in cases of illness or especially difficult circumstances, the Trade Union and the Company's Board of Directors have a regime of visiting and mobilizing all employees to contribute support.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Oanh, from Soc Trang , has been working at the company for the past 3 years, said: “Because I have a stable job, my income is always over 10 million VND/month, thanks to which I have money to take care of my family. In addition to the warm “Union Meal” organized regularly, creating a united and joyful atmosphere, employees and their children are taken care of by the company, supported with scholarships, pens, and pencils during their studies... The union activities are carried out fully and thoughtfully, so employees feel more secure to stay with the company for a long time.”

Towards the poor and disadvantaged

In addition to efforts to care for the lives of workers, in Tan Uyen City, Asia Italian Door Technology Company Limited is also a unit that accompanies the poor and poor students through many meaningful activities. The representative of the Trade Union said that through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, the Red Cross Society, the Women's Union, and the medical staff of the ward, the company has made donations, provided support, and shared some of the difficulties with the locality. On average, each year, the company supports activities worth more than 300 million VND. In particular, it focuses on taking care of difficult circumstances, awarding scholarships to poor students in the locality at the beginning of the new school year, and supporting the zero-dong market program organized by the locality.

Typically, recently, the company coordinated with the Tan Uyen City Health Department to organize a delegation to visit and present gifts to the family of Nguyen Minh Long, born in 2015, residing in Tan Long Hamlet, Bach Dang Commune, Tan Uyen City, who is suffering from leukemia and is in extremely difficult circumstances. Thereby, the company provided 25 million VND in cash to support the cost of medical examination and treatment for the child, creating motivation to help families overcome difficulties and improve their lives...

Previously, in September 2024, when many northern provinces and cities suffered great damage due to storms and floods, the Provincial Federation of Labor called on all employees and businesses in the province to contribute and support the people in the North. Asia Italian Door Technology Company Limited was one of the earliest units to support with a total amount of 500 million VND into the account of the Provincial Federation of Labor. Ms. Le Thi Huong personally supported 100 million VND by buying essential items and handing them to people in flooded areas with her relatives...

Ms. Le Thi Huong, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of the Asia Italian Door Industry Company Limited, said that in 2025, the company's Trade Union will continue to focus on trade union activities proposed by the Tan Uyen City Labor Federation and the Provincial Labor Federation; maintain the organization of "Union Meals" every quarter; negotiate with the company's Board of Directors to sign labor agreements that are beneficial to employees, as well as propose activities to take care of meals and improve the lives of employees.
