In recent years, with unique traditional cultural activities during Tet, Cu Pui commune (Krong Bong district) has always attracted thousands of local and foreign visitors to visit, have fun and enjoy.

Cu Pui commune has 15,358 people, including 14 ethnic groups living together in 13 villages and hamlets; in addition to local ethnic groups such as Ede, M'nong, there is also a large community of ethnic groups from the North such as Mong, Tay, Thai, Muong... Therefore, the spring festival in Cu Pui is very unique, rich, and diverse in traditional cultural colors of ethnic groups.

To prepare for traditional cultural festivals during Tet, local ethnic villages are currently rushing to repair water wharves; repair and decorate community houses; clean village roads and alleys; prepare jars of rice wine, and practice gongs. It is expected that after Tet, the People's Committee of Cu Pui commune will organize a gong festival and performance at the commune level. Artisan Y Jut Eban in Khanh village said: "Since the beginning of the 12th lunar month, artisans in the village have held meetings and started practicing performing musical instruments and traditional dance songs. The young kram gong team is also actively practicing to participate in the festival in time."

The art troupes of the Tay, Thai, and Muong ethnic minority villages are also actively practicing. Last year, Cu Pui commune only held a festival in Knung village. This year, the People's Committee of Cu Pui commune will organize a traditional cultural festival of the Muong - Thai - Tay ethnic groups at the commune level, creating conditions for all villages with Muong, Thai, and Tay ethnic minorities in the whole commune to participate.

The festival that many people are waiting for is the traditional cultural festival of the Northern ethnic groups held on the 6th day of Tet, with many exciting and attractive activities of the Mong people. Currently, the contents of the festival have been deployed and started to be practiced by the villages. Many families in Cu Te, Ea Uol, Ea Lang, and Cu Rang villages have their best fighting bulls, increasing their food and training every day to participate in bullfighting during the festival. Mr. Sinh Chang Pao, Head of Ea Uol village said: "Ea Uol village has fighting bulls participating in the festival every year and they all win prizes. This year, some families have also selected bulls, taken good care of them, and are ready to participate in the festival."

In addition to bullfighting, the traditional cultural festival of the Northern ethnic groups also has many attractive contents such as dancing Senh Tien, playing Mong flute, playing tops, tug of war, throwing con, volleyball, football, etc. Mr. Nguyen Minh Nghiep, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Pui commune said: "This year, the People's Committee of Krong Bong district plans to organize the cultural festival of the Northern ethnic groups in Cu Pui commune at the district level, so that some localities with many Northern ethnic groups such as Hoa Phong commune and Cu Dram commune can participate. After this festival, Cu Pui commune will continue to organize early spring festivals such as: the festival of the Muong - Thai - Tay ethnic groups; the communal gong festival for 5 villages of the Ede and M'nong ethnic groups; organizing physical training and sports activities to welcome the new year 2024".

In addition to cultural, artistic and sports activities, Cu Pui commune has also implemented a plan to renovate, repair and clean the village roads, alleys and some places such as: Hero Y On Nie Memorial House, Dak Tuor Waterfall, Dak Tuor Cave, sturgeon lake to welcome tourists. In particular, some Mong ethnic families have invested in planting flower gardens with many beautiful flowers, poetic scenery and many attractive miniatures in Ea Bar village. Although it has just been put into operation, it has attracted hundreds of tourists from inside and outside the commune to visit and take pictures every day.
