Weightlifters from Ca Mau break national record in men's 88 kg category.
The 2025 National Weightlifting Championship will take place from August 18-25 at the Tien Son Sports Complex (Da Nang), organized by the Vietnam Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Federation in coordination with the Da Nang City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The competition will bring together nearly 200 male and female athletes from 23 provinces, cities, and sectors nationwide.

The Ca Mau team delivered an impressive performance, winning 1 Gold Medal, 1 Bronze Medal, and breaking 1 national record. Athlete Nguyen Quoc Toan excelled, winning the Gold Medal and simultaneously breaking the national record in the men's 88 kg weight category. Athlete Thach Hoang Sang won the Bronze Medal in the men's 65 kg weight category.
