Voters of Hoa Thuan ward propose investment to complete infrastructure

On the afternoon of August 18, Delegation Group No. 10 - People's Council of Vinh Long province, term X, including comrades: Nguyen Van Khiem - Provincial People's Council delegate (Head of Group); Pham Hoang Minh - Deputy Director of Department of Industry and Trade (Deputy Head of Group); Le Van Han - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Venerable Thach Oai - Member of the Central Executive Council of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha had a meeting with 100 voters of Hoa Thuan ward.

Comrade Le Van Han - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee spoke at the meeting with voters.

At the meeting place, voters listened to representatives of Delegation Group No. 10 inform them of the results of the first and second sessions of the 10th Provincial People's Council; the results of resolving voters' opinions and recommendations, and information on a number of new policies related to the rights and interests of the people.

Delegation group No. 10 - People's Council of Vinh Long province, term X, met with voters of Hoa Thuan ward.

There are 7 voters with 28 recommendations related to infrastructure, agriculture and people's lives. Voters want to soon invest in building and upgrading roads, electricity lines, drainage systems in Ky La, Dau Bo and Vinh Bao hamlets; invest in infrastructure related to loudspeakers; remove temporary and dilapidated houses for people in Ky La hamlet and expand some narrow roads in the area; dredge the irrigation canal in Dau Bo hamlet; the office of the Vinh Bao hamlet People's Committee is narrow and does not ensure living space and legality; the payment of allowances for the elderly is still slow; the implementation of 2-level government to handle administrative procedures related to land for people is still slow; digital transformation technology, software is not yet connected...

Voter Thach Sone (Bich Tri hamlet) proposed investing in roads and drainage systems.

The opinions of voters have been satisfactorily explained by the locality. On behalf of Delegation Group No. 10, Comrade Le Van Han - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee received voters' opinions and clarified issues of concern to voters.

Comrade Le Van Han directed the locality to promptly handle the recommendations raised by voters. Special attention should be paid to solving social evils such as drugs, social order, etc. For issues beyond the locality's authority, report to the superiors for consideration and resolution.
