At the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh shared with people affected by the recent floods. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh also informed about the socio-economic development, national defense and security situation in the province; the results achieved in the past time in various fields and some key tasks in the remaining months of 2023. At the same time, he emphasized that the province is focusing resources to build Thua Thien Hue into a centrally-run city according to Resolution 54 of the Politburo , so the consensus and support of voters is the driving force for the Party Committee and the government to be determined and make efforts to concretize the key goals and tasks.

Voters of Phu Thuong, Thuy Van, Vy Da, Phu Mau, and Phu Thanh communes and wards made recommendations to the provincial and city People's Council delegates on a number of issues such as upgrading and repairing rural and intra-field roads; paying attention to the drainage system on roads through residential areas, building embankments to prevent landslides; urban order and sidewalks; environmental sanitation; moving power lines out of residential areas, etc.

Regarding issues under the responsibility of Hue City, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh requested local authorities and People's Committees of communes and wards to review and inspect to resolve them according to their prescribed authority. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh, on behalf of the delegation, acknowledged the voters' opinions, saying that these were valid opinions and needed to be resolved soon to ensure people's lives. "Although the voters' recommendations are only resolved at the city level, I will have direct instructions to promptly resolve them for the people. In the immediate future, we need to focus on promptly resolving issues related to people's lives such as environmental waste, lighting electricity...", Mr. Hoang Hai Minh emphasized.
