Traffic Police Department announces traffic diversion for trucks of 10 tons and passenger cars of 45 seats or more to serve the Anniversary.

To ensure traffic order and safety (TTATGT) for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (hereinafter referred to as the Celebration), the Traffic Police Department announces temporary traffic diversion on August 21 as follows:

Time: From 10am on August 21 to 5am on August 22 (the Traffic Police Department will continue to inform people on other days).

Subjects of traffic classification: trucks of 10 tons or more, passenger cars of 45 seats or more (except passenger cars on fixed routes, buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident response vehicles, vehicles with badges serving the Anniversary Ceremony and priority vehicles on duty). Specifically:

1. Road transport from the Northern provinces to the Northwestern provinces and vice versa

1.1. Vehicles from National Highway 32 → Provincial Road 316 → Provincial Road 317 → National Highway 6 to the Northwestern provinces (do not go through Dong Quang Bridge, Vinh Thinh Bridge, Trung Ha Bridge, Van Lang Bridge).

1.2. Vehicles arriving at IC4 and IC8 intersections of Hanoi - Lao Cai Expressway (CT05) and the intersection of National Highway 2 with National Highway 2C follow the traffic diversion route at point 1.1.

2. Road transport from the Northern provinces to the Northeastern provinces and vice versa

Vehicles on the Hanoi - Lao Cai Expressway (CT05) or National Highway 2A → National Highway 18 (Ha Long - Noi Bai Expressway) → turn onto the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway (CT07) at the intersection of National Highway 18 with CT07 (Yen Phong commune, Bac Ninh province) → go to the intersection with Ring Road 3 (near Phu Dong bridge) → National Highway 1A (Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway (CT01)) to the Northeastern provinces.

3. Road transport from the Northwestern provinces (National Highway 6) to the South and vice versa

3.1. At Man Duc intersection (km 101+120 National Highway 6, Tan Lac commune, Phu Tho province): follow National Highway 12B to Cho Mia intersection (km 496+600 Ho Chi Minh road, Dai Dong commune, Phu Tho province) → Ho Chi Minh road to the southern provinces.

3.2. At Doc Cun (km 83+530 National Highway 6, Cao Phong commune, Phu Tho province): follow Provincial Road 12B → Hang Doi intersection (km 47+700 DT12B) → National Highway 21 → Ho Chi Minh road (km 450+900, Cao Duong commune, Phu Tho province) to Thanh Hoa and the southern provinces.

4. Road transport from the southern provinces to the northwestern or eastern provinces

4.1. For Hanoi - Ninh Binh Expressway (CT01):

4.1.1. Dong Giao Interchange (km 282 CT01, Tam Diep Ward, Ninh Binh Province): follow the direction of Hoa Lu Avenue → National Highway 12B → Ho Chi Minh Road to Phu Tho Province, Northwest.

4.1.2. Mai Son Interchange (km 274 CT01, Yen Thang Ward, Ninh Binh Province): follow the old Ninh Binh City bypass → National Highway 1 to the intersection with National Highway 21B (old Provincial Road 494) → Phu Ly City bypass to Phu Tho, Northwestern provinces.

Vehicles turn right onto National Highway 21B (old provincial road 494) to the eastern provinces.

4.1.3. Cao Bo junction (km 260 CT01, Y Yen commune, Ninh Binh province): follow National Highway 10 to the eastern provinces (Hai Phong, Quang Ninh).

4.1.4. Liem Tuyen junction (km 230 CT01, Liem Tuyen ward, Ninh Binh province): take National Highway 21B (old provincial road 494) → connecting road between Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway and Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway to the eastern provinces.

Vehicles follow National Highway 21B → Phu Ly city bypass to Phu Tho and the Northwestern provinces.

4.1.5. Vuc Vong junction (km 219 CT01, Dong Van ward, Ninh Binh province): follow National Highway 38 → Yen Lenh bridge → National Highway 39 → Pho Noi → National Highway 5 or Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway to the eastern provinces.

4.2. For National Highway 1A:

4.2.1. Duyen Ha Intersection (km 274 National Highway 1A): follow the traffic diversion route at point 3.1.2, Section II of this Notice.

4.2.2. Intersection of National Highway 1A with Phu Ly City bypass (km 235+800 National Highway 1A): follow the traffic diversion route at point 3.1.4, Section II of this Notice.

5. Vehicles from the Eastern provinces to the Southern, Northeastern, Northern provinces and vice versa

5.1. For Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway (CT04):

5.1.1. From Yen My intersection (km 21+500 CT04, Yen My commune, Hung Yen province): go to the road connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway via Hung Ha bridge → Liem Tuyen intersection or go to National Highway 39 via Yen Lenh bridge → Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway to the southern provinces;

5.1.2. From Yen My intersection, go to National Highway 5 → National Highway 17 or to National Highway 1A (Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway) to the Northern and Northeastern provinces.

5.2. For National Highway 5:

5.2.1. From Nhan Hoa overpass (km 24+250 National Highway 5): → National Highway 39 → Yen Lenh bridge or the road connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway via Hung Ha bridge → Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway to the southern provinces.

5.2.2. From National Highway 5 → National Highway 17 or onto National Highway 1A (Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway) to the Northern and Northeastern provinces.

6. Vehicles from the Northeastern provinces to the Northern and Eastern provinces and vice versa

6.1. For National Highway 1A (Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway (CT01)):

6.1.1. From Kha Le overpass (km 139 National Highway 1A) → National Highway 18 or to the intersection with CT07 to the northern provinces.

6.1.2. Vehicles going to Bo Son overpass (km 138+500 National Highway 1A) → National Highway 38 → National Highway 17 to National Highway 5 or Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway (km 7 CT04) to the Eastern provinces.

6.2. For provincial road 295B (old National Highway 1A):

6.2.1. From the intersection with Provincial Road 277 (Tu Son Clock Tower, km 154+100 DT 295B) turn right onto the new Provincial Road 277 (towards Dong Ky) → Provincial Road 286 → Huynh Thuc Khang Street (Yen Phong Commune, Bac Ninh Province) → National Highway 18 to the Northern provinces.

6.2.2. Vehicles coming from the intersection with Provincial Road 277 → National Highway 1A (direction to Den Do) to the Eastern provinces.

Routes, times, and types of road vehicles that are completely banned, temporarily banned, or restricted from operating in Hanoi's inner city area shall comply with the Hanoi City Police's Temporary Traffic Diversion Notice.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that during the time of traffic diversion, transport enterprises, drivers, vehicle owners subject to traffic diversion and people participating in traffic should minimize traffic participation on routes, sections and time frames of temporary traffic restriction announcements.

Strictly comply with the provisions of the law on road traffic order and safety, pay attention to: driving in the correct lane; keeping distance and speed; not stopping or parking illegally; when there is a signal from a priority vehicle on duty, the driver must quickly reduce speed, avoid or stop close to the right side of the road to give way to the priority vehicle; comply with the instructions and traffic control of the traffic police and other functional forces.

Before participating in traffic, proactively check the vehicle's technical safety to ensure that no incidents or traffic accidents occur that obstruct traffic. Proactively update traffic conditions and choose appropriate time frames and routes during the activities of the Anniversary.
