Notably, it has proactively advised, directed, and guided the timely handling of violations of the law at sea in accordance with the provisions of the law. It has seriously and closely implemented the training and inspection of legal expertise according to the plans of all levels. The fight against crime and violations of the law at sea has been carried out systematically, closely, and effectively. It has well implemented the professional work of fighting against Vietnamese fishing vessels violating IUU fishing. It has well organized and implemented 2 peak periods, the entire force has arrested and handled 646 cases/834 subjects, the total amount of administrative fines and estimated value of exhibits is about 50 billion VND.
International coordination and cooperation in the fight against crimes and violations of the law at sea have also been promoted. Proactively advising, developing directives and guidelines for legal work in 2025, and plans to build a comprehensively strong Department that is "exemplary and typical".
