On the morning of June 22, in Vung Tau City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, a delegation from the Department of Military Training, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army led by Colonel Ta Quang Thao, Deputy Director of the Department of Military Training, General Staff, inspected combat training at Brigade 171, Naval Region 2.
At the inspection, the commander of Brigade 171 reported to the inspection team on the results of combat training in the first 6 months of 2023. Agencies and units in the brigade have done a good job of preparing for training such as: Training cadres, developing plans, drafting and approving lesson plans; training cadres, preparing materials, organizing and disseminating training tasks in 2023; organizing participation in competitions and sports events at the unit and higher levels; directing the organization of command and agency exercises on maps for agencies and units...

Through inspection, the working group assessed that Brigade 171 has thoroughly grasped, deployed, and seriously implemented the resolutions and directives from above on combat training. Party committees and commanders of agencies and units have a firm grasp of the tasks, content, and training time for each subject... Along with that, the working group also pointed out some remaining issues in training work, requesting the brigade to promptly overcome them and do a good job of preparing for training in the last 6 months of 2023.
