Where does VAR go?
The three teams currently leading after the first half of the V-League season are The Cong Viettel , Nam Dinh, and Thanh Hoa, separated by only one point. These teams will undoubtedly have to continue fighting every minute to avoid falling further down the table. Video assistant referee (VAR) technology continues to be used in all matches of Round 14, with several interesting rematches.
The V-League will not be short of surprises.
Opening the exciting matches of Round 14 is the "big battle" in Pleiku between HAGL FC and Hanoi FC (at 5 PM on February 21st). The home team, HAGL, is gradually slipping into the lower half of the standings (17 points, 8th place). The pressure is considerable for HAGL, as a number of clubs are closing the gap behind them (the play-off position currently held by Hai Phong FC is only 6 points away from HAGL), while the top teams are widening the gap even further.

Can HAGL pull off another surprise?
Hanoi FC has just unveiled its new coach and is full of enthusiasm to "avenge" the 0-1 defeat at Hang Day Stadium in round 11. If they still want to compete for the championship – as the new head coach Makoto Teguramori aspires – Hanoi FC absolutely must win in Pleiku.
On February 22nd, Round 14 continues with two matches featuring VAR: Binh Duong FC vs. SLNA FC (at 6 PM) , and Hai Phong FC vs. Ha Tinh FC (at 7:15 PM at Lach Tray Stadium). Hai Phong FC and SLNA FC are currently at the bottom of the table and need to secure points, or even wins, against Binh Duong and Ha Tinh, two teams aiming for the top spots.

Tien Linh (in white shirt, Binh Duong Club) is also in the race for the top scorer title.
SLNA FC is experiencing a resurgence after their crucial victory against Hai Phong in Round 13. This young team is ready to pull off another surprise in Thu Dau Mot – a place where, if needed, thousands of fans can flock to the stadium to "paint it yellow" in support of their hometown players.
After a painful defeat in round 13, Hai Phong FC is seeking a victory in this round against the undefeated Ha Tinh team. The visiting team's current momentum is their strength, maintaining an unbeaten streak. Will the home team, Hai Phong, be able to regroup and boost their morale before this crucial match?

On Sunday (February 23), Round 14 continues with three highly anticipated and tense matches. Da Nang FC has no other goal than to secure three points against Ho Chi Minh City FC (at 6 PM at Tam Ky Stadium). This match is an opportunity for Da Nang FC to gain three points and close the gap with the teams above them, as their opponent, Ho Chi Minh City FC, is not significantly stronger. Conversely, Ho Chi Minh City FC also desperately needs a win to move closer to safety and push their opponent further down the table.
Thanh Hoa FC has a chance to "settle the score" with Quang Nam FC when they meet in this round (at 6 PM at Thanh Hoa Stadium). Thanh Hoa FC was racing to the top of the table but unexpectedly stumbled in Tam Ky in the rescheduled match of round 11. Another defeat could plunge the Thanh Hoa team into crisis, and the outcome is uncertain. Quang Nam FC is buoyed by their victory on February 19th and may be preparing for another surprise in Thanh Hoa.
The race for the top spots is intense.
CAHN FC is also unhappy as they gradually slip down the middle of the table, increasingly falling further behind the top teams. Their loss to The Cong Viettel FC in the rescheduled match of round 11 on February 19th has placed immense pressure on Quang Hai and his teammates. The rematch in round 14 presents CAHN with an opportunity to "get revenge" and erase this defeat. However, The Cong Viettel FC – the team currently leading the league – is proving to be a formidable opponent with the strength to reach their current position.

CAHN Club lost to The Cong Viettel Club in the first leg.
On February 24th, Round 14 concluded with a clash between Nam Dinh FC and Binh Dinh FC (at 6 PM at Thien Truong Stadium). Nam Dinh FC is currently focusing all its efforts on the V-League and urgently needs a win to keep pace with The Cong Viettel in the championship race. Binh Dinh FC also wants to accumulate more points to escape the bottom group.
