The race for artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly fierce.

Leading artificial intelligence (AI) companies worldwide are releasing new figures showing strong growth in providing advanced technology solutions to global users.

OpenAI, the creator of the ChatGPT application, announced that the number of users of its popular chatbot has doubled since November 2023, reaching 200 million monthly users.

According to OpenAI, as many as 92% of companies on the Fortune 500 list are currently using their services.

The Fortune 500 list is an annual ranking by Fortune magazine, listing the 500 largest companies in the United States by revenue.

This is one of the most important indicators for assessing the size and influence of companies in the US economy , as well as in the global economy.

Meanwhile, Meta, the parent company of Facebook, said that AI features on its platforms now have 400 million monthly users and 185 million weekly users.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the number of AI users in Meta's community of over 3 billion people is growing rapidly, even though the feature has not yet been rolled out in the UK, Brazil, or the European Union (EU).

Meta also stated that usage of its Llama model – which Meta built based on data from major cloud services – doubled between May and July following the rollout of its latest update.

Most companies using AI models access them through leading global cloud providers such as Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and Google, rather than installing them on their own servers.

Llama (offered for free) is directly competing with models that support ChatGPT or Google's Gemini, which are also offered to companies (for a fee) through cloud providers.

Microsoft is the company backing OpenAI's AI development, and it also develops its own AI tools based on OpenAI's technology.

According to Microsoft, the usage of their Copilot chatbot increased by 60% in just three months. To date, users have used Copilot to create over 12 billion images and 13 billion conversations.

Meanwhile, while Google is considered a leader in the field of generative AI development, it is criticized for being slower than its competitors and for making mistakes when deploying AI tools.

Google now integrates the Gemini chatbot into all of its products, such as Gmail and Google Maps, and has recently expanded its AI image creation feature to include high-end and business customers.
