The ABU Robocon 2024 competition is a playground for robotics-loving students from countries and territories in the Asia- Pacific region. It's not just a technological competition, but also a testament to the development of science and technology and the creativity of the younger generation, of technology-loving students in the Asia-Pacific region.
ABU Robocon 2024 features 13 teams from 12 countries and territories. Vietnam is represented by two teams: SKH AUTOMATION and SKH – CK1 from Hung Yen University of Technology and Education.
The theme of this year's competition is "Harvest Day," aiming to honor the value of agriculture , especially rice cultivation on terraced fields – a distinctive feature of Vietnamese culture.
The participating robots will have to perform tasks simulating the rice cultivation process, from sowing seedlings to harvesting. The competition promises to deliver exciting and creative matches.
Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee will also hold many attractive side activities such as: knowledge sharing sessions on programming and control, robot construction, and tours of the Ha Long Bay heritage site… for the participating teams.
Hosting ABU Robocon 2024 is an opportunity for Vietnam to showcase its image to the international community and affirm its position in the field of technology.
