CD Projekt Red and Apple have announced the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Mac. Starting July 17, users of devices with Apple Silicon chips can download the game on the App Store or platforms such as GOG.com, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
First released in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 is an open -world action role-playing game set in the fictional city of Night City in the cyberpunk universe. In addition to its gameplay and storyline, the game is also highly appreciated for its beautiful graphics and vivid futuristic world.
In the game, players take on the role of mercenary V, participating in a series of events that affect the balance of power in Night City. Players can upgrade their characters through skill trees and chip implants. Choices in the game can change the outcome of the story.
In 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 won the award for best development game at The Game Awards. In the same year, a story expansion was released under the name Phantom Liberty . On macOS, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition includes the original story and expansions.
