Da Nang issues new regulations on organization and operation of public service units in the culture, sports and tourism sector.

VHO - The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued regulations on the functions, tasks and organizational structure of a number of public service units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DOCST), in order to improve the organization and improve operational efficiency.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Pham Duc An has just signed and issued Decisions regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of a number of public service units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Accordingly, three units are specifically defined including the Da Nang City Cultural - Cinema Center, Da Nang Traditional Arts Theater and Da Nang City Sports and Gymnastics Training and Education Center.

Specifically, in Decision No. 55/2025/QD-UBND, the Danang City Cultural - Cinema Center has the function of propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; performing political , economic, cultural, social tasks and other tasks of the locality;

Providing public career services and serving state management; subject to the direction, management and operation of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city and at the same time subject to the direction, guidance and inspection of professional expertise of the specialized management agency under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Da Nang Traditional Arts Theater has the function of organizing traditional art performances to serve the city's political tasks, meeting the people's needs for cultural, artistic and entertainment enjoyment.

In Decision No. 56/2025/QD-UBND, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued the Regulations on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Da Nang Traditional Arts Theater.

The Da Nang Traditional Arts Theater has the function of organizing traditional art performances to serve the city's political tasks, meeting the people's needs for cultural, artistic and entertainment enjoyment; propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws through traditional performing arts activities; providing public career services and serving state management in the field of traditional performing arts according to the provisions of law.

Da Nang Traditional Arts Theater is under the direct and comprehensive management and direction of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, and is also under the direction, inspection and professional guidance of the Department of Performing Arts, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Regarding the Sports and Gymnastics Training Center of Da Nang City, in Decision No. 57/2025/QD-UBND, the unit is assigned the function of selecting, providing professional training, and coaching sports athletes; participating in domestic and international sports competitions; providing public career services and serving state management according to the provisions of law.
