(Dan Tri) - Da Nang is inviting a consulting unit to value the land plot at 16 Bach Dang (Hai Chau district). This land plot was once related to Mr. Phan Van Anh Vu.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang City has issued a notice inviting units to participate in consulting and determining land prices as a basis for setting the starting price for auctioning land use rights for the land plot at 16 Bach Dang, Hai Chau district.
The land is located on two fronts of Bach Dang and Tran Phu streets, on the Han River with an area of 1,799m2. According to the land price list in Da Nang city, the period 2020-2024, Bach Dang street has a quite high price, all over 140 million VND/m2.

According to Dan Tri reporter's investigation, the above land was leased by Da Nang City People's Committee to Bac Nam 79 Construction Joint Stock Company owned by Phan Van Anh Vu (commonly known as Vu "Nhom") for a period of 50 years in 2014.
However, later, the inspector pointed out that the People's Committee of Da Nang City leased the above land in violation of regulations.
In 2018, the Ministry of Public Security investigated cases that occurred in Da Nang City, related to Phan Van Anh Vu. The above land was also seized as property related to this character.
In 2023, the Ministry of Public Security sent a document to the People's Committee of Da Nang City regarding the cancellation of the suspension of asset transactions, ensuring the normal operation of companies related to Mr. Phan Van Anh Vu.
